It's expensive making energy which is why it costs a lot to buy. If you even think about the effort involved in making your own power, it becomes obvious that for the last 50 years of the 20th century we were all very lucky to have as much power as we did. There again though, our old fashioned TV's and appliances needed lots of it anyway. With more and more people becoming aware of their energy requirements, making their own power or buying it from an environmentally conscious provider, it's easy to see that there is little point in wasting it. None really.
But we can't all go round turning the lights off and turning the thermostat up or down or wearing more clothes to save energy. We are all going to buy things that perform better than the ones we have now. New things are more efficient and should last longer as a result.
New things are made from new sexy materials that outperform previous materials. Carbon fibre now allows us to build more comfortable aeroplanes that fly further. The Iron Age shaped Europe in the late Middle Ages. New materials lead to new machines which lead to new lifestyles.
In this section of the site you can see what advice is offered regarding energy conservation in the links below, and view all the latest appliances that are available across the global marketplace. Some aren't available everywhere. Solar powered pumps haven't yet reached India, but they will have a massive impact on the farming community as the country is largely fertile and flat. Much of the World is uninformed about energy efficiency and the choices that alternative energies can offer. I hope this site can help.
See the Products section which shows the latest appliances for the Home, Office and Industry. If you are looking for a Product that is solar powered then we have devoted a Solar Products page.
